Introducing Codio AI Literacy: Preparing Students for an AI-Powered Workforce

As artificial intelligence becomes part of everyday work, colleges and universities are facing a new challenge: helping students use AI effectively, critically evaluate AI-generated content, and understand when human judgment matters most. Traditional digital literacy programs were not designed for a world where AI can generate content, answer questions, and assist with complex tasks in seconds.

During this live event, we'll introduce Codio AI Literacy, a new offering designed to help institutions teach responsible AI use across disciplines. Built around Codio's Notice, Test, Verify, Explain, and Defend framework and aligned with the U.S. Department of Labor's AI Literacy guidance, the course helps students develop the judgment and critical thinking skills needed to work confidently with AI while remaining accountable for outcomes.

You'll learn how institutions are approaching AI literacy, what students need to know beyond prompt writing, and how faculty can incorporate AI into existing coursework while maintaining visibility into student learning and AI usage. We'll also provide an overview of the course structure, learning objectives, and the roadmap for expanding AI literacy across higher education.

Live Event Date: July 29th, 2 p.m. EST
