Customer Success Manager

This Role
As a Customer Success Specialist, you will primarily support our new client institutions and strategic partners as they begin to discover and explore Codio, including demonstrating our platform and resources. You’ll quickly learn our cloud learning platform inside and out, and as an ambassador for Codio, you’ll help our customers and partners maximize its benefits.
Internally, you will serve as a voice for our customers, providing valuable insight and feedback to the product, sales, and support teams. You will also provide examples of powerful use cases of our features to support our customer acquisition and retention goals.
Responsibilities
- Showcase the Codio Platform and Resources:Understand clients’ interests and pain points. Demonstrate how Codio can enhance their instruction and elevate the experience for both learners and course leaders.
- Port Customer Materials:Demonstrate the advantages of the Codio platform by converting materials from clients’ current platform (other auto-grading systems, or just project documents) into assignments that emphasize Codio’s features and benefits.
- Manage Customer Setup:Oversee the entire process from course setup to instructor onboarding. This encompasses assisting with authoring in Codio, license activation, LMS integration, and guiding instructors through the onboarding process.
- Support Creation of Documentation and Video Tutorials:Assist in producing content related to the platform’s features that instructors can use as examples and templates.
- Train and Onboard new Customers:Ensure new users understand and leverage the full potential of the Codio platform.
- Introduce new Product Features to Existing Customers: Update current clients on features that align with their needs and use cases.
- Assist in Identifying and Prioritizing Customer Requests:Collaborate with the Customer Success Director, as well as the content and development teams, to address and prioritize client-specific requests.
Collaborate Across Departments:
- Product Team:Share feedback from client interactions to drive platform enhancements.
- Content Team: Collaborate with the content team to ensure the quality of the materials they create and assist with the process during less busy time.
- Marketing Team: Assist with web content creation, and other relevant activities.
Required Qualifications
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with at least one programming language (knowledge of programming is essential as we are building a CS Ed product).
- Excellent writing skills.
- Adaptability within a startup environment.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Passion and curiosity for advancing computer science education and technology.
- Proficiency with video creation and editing for customer training and onboarding.
Preferred Experience
- Prior interaction with instructional technology or learning platforms.
- Familiarity with some of the following: content authoring platforms, CRM systems, IDEs, or GitHub.
